So after class on Thursday I had the opportunity to discuss the Know, Trust, Rely, Commit, Touch model (from now on I will refer to this simply as the model).  It was a great experience because I felt like it helped her to see how relationships should be built.  I think this is a very common misunderstanding even among Mormon youth.  We still see the whirlwind romance as what we want sometimes and don't realize that we need to dig deeper.  I know that this model has helped me to see things in a different perspective and I can easily see why it is important to really get to know someone rather than just to put all of those Eros feelings out there.
